CAMRON WRIGHT
Jorturoy Mosaic
30” x 24”
2025
DESCRIPTION
Jorturoy Mosaic’s rich colors and textures demand attention against
the gallery’s white walls. Handmade from denim, corduroy, and velvet, this
mosaic draws from the bold aesthetics of Hip-Hop and the material history
of Black labor and luxury. The work’s earth tones and patched construction
transform the everyday into a living archive of memory and self-expression.
From streetwear to gallery, these shorts embody energy and authenticity.
